An Odisha Rain Alert has been issued after the Regional Meteorological Centre forecast thunderstorms and heavy rainfall in six districts of the state. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, a Yellow Warning has been issued for Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Balangir, and Bargarh. These districts are likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and spells of heavy rainfall.
The warning has prompted authorities and residents to remain cautious, particularly in low-lying areas that are vulnerable to water accumulation during prolonged rainfall.
