The Odisha STF ganja seizure has dealt another blow to alleged interstate narcotics trafficking after the Special Task Force (STF) arrested two suspected members of a smuggling network and recovered 263 kilograms of cannabis (ganja) valued at around ₹1.32 crore.

According to the information provided, the operation was carried out after the STF received specific intelligence about the movement of a suspected vehicle transporting a large quantity of ganja. The consignment was allegedly being moved from Kandhamal district in Odisha to Jharkhand.

STF Laid an Ambush on National Highway

Based on the intelligence inputs, the STF team positioned itself along a National Highway to intercept the suspected vehicle.
