Sambalpur: A massive Sambalpur Tiranga Yatra was organised under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, bringing together police personnel, students, political leaders and people from different sections of society.
The procession began at the Reserve Police Ground in Sambalpur. Participants carried the national flag as they marched through different parts of the city, turning the event into a prominent public display of national pride and unity.
The yatra brought together people from different backgrounds, including school and college students and police personnel. Political leaders and members of the public also joined the procession.
Tiranga Yatra Moves Through Sambalpur
With participants carrying the Tricolour, the procession moved through various parts of Sambalpur city after starting from the Reserve Police Ground.
The participation of students and members of the wider community gave the Sambalpur Tiranga Yatra a broad public character. The event was organised as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which promotes the display of the national flag and encourages public participation around the Tricolour.
The procession eventually reached Jail Chhak, where the yatra concluded near the statue of Veer Surendra Sai.
The concluding point added a significant local landmark to the event, bringing the procession to an end after its movement through the city.
Community Participation Marks Sambalpur Event
The participation of police personnel, educational institutions, political representatives and citizens reflected the wide range of groups involved in the yatra.
