Odisha has assured its citizens that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel across the state. The clarification comes amid growing concerns related to global fuel supply due to the ongoing Middle East conflict.
Fuel Supply Fully Stable in Odisha
Odisha Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra stated that both petrol and diesel are available in sufficient quantities across the state as well as across the country.
He emphasized that there is no disruption in supply and consumers will continue to receive fuel as per their requirement.
No Fuel Station Closures
The minister further clarified that no petrol pumps or fuel stations in Odisha have been instructed to shut down.
He reassured the public that:
- Fuel supply chains remain stable
- Distribution is running normally
- There is no need for panic buying
Government Monitoring Situation Closely
The state government is closely monitoring the fuel supply situation due to global uncertainty triggered by tensions in the Middle East.
Officials are ensuring that stock levels remain adequate and uninterrupted across all districts of Odisha.
